Project Delivery Manager

This is key role in helping us deliver quality services and products to our customers. The project delivery manager will be crucial to the vital areas of our business related to delivery, installation and commissioning of new products in a variety of applications. In this position you will have many contacts in our business including the sales team and different departments in our HQ (Manufacturing, Finance, Logistics,….), but also subcontractors, field engineers and end users.

Responsible to maximize efficiencies on new installations, retrofit and service projects?

• You assist the sales engineers with the pre-order costing on installation projects and participate in the review of new projects to finalise design, scope and commercial aspects of new orders. You attend the project handover with the sales engineers and clients to confirm scope and timeline requirements. You manage the procurement of all equipment and subcontracts work related to all projects. You produce a project plan for all projects.
• You manage installations and commissioning of industrial cooling systems to ensure they are technically correct to an acceptable standard. For this you work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure an effective and efficient implementation of the projects.
• You provide technical support to clients and engineers and coordinate the equipment of parts and subcontractors to ensure required time frames are achieved. You provide detailed updates on projects, ensure that documents are complete and handle the financial control of the project.
• You manage a team of engineers/technicians on site, ensuring contract agreements are met and health and safety standards are maintained. You identify resources and assign responsibilities.
• You will be required to travel extensively throughout the UK and Ireland and where necessary stay away for short periods/up to a week.

Profiel

Experienced project manager with an HVAC Manufacturing background?

• You combine a proven track record of strong project management capabilities with experience in or knowledge of factory assembled heat transfer products and solutions. Having an interest or experience in cooling technology is an advantage.
• Ideally you have worked at least 5 years in a sales or customer focused role in a similar environment. You are highly customer oriented, supported by first class listening skills and professionalism.
• Through your strong communication skills and a pro-active attitude you are able to coordinate multiple sales opportunities & projects. You are able to work independently and have a good attention for detail.
• You can express yourself fluently in English. Additional languages are an advantage (French, German, Flemish).
• You are well versed with NEC3 style contracts. Knowledge of Prince and AutoCAD is a plus. You are proficient with using the MS Office 365 applications.
• You can work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines in an often hectic and fast changing environment.
