BAC Balticare UK, a subsidiary of BAC Europe, offers a complete range of products and aftermarket services ensuring safe and optimal performance of BAC cooling towers and evaporative condensers.

To strengthen our Balticare UK & Ireland team, we’re recruiting a motivated

Internal Sales Support

This role is an important key position within the UK business. As a back office you will utilise your expertise in providing product/technical and commercial sales support to the external sales force and customers. You provide unit selections based on technical/specification and application requirements. The role also involves liaising with various departments in the Belgium HQ to source additional technical information, APS pricing and approval of special/project specific options. Next to this you also provide support for the external sales team for aftermarket and core products sales opportunities.

Technical and commercial support for our sales force and clients?

  • You will assist with client enquiries (for new or replacement units and spare parts for existing equipment) directing them to the correct external sales manager or deal with them directly. You prepare quotations, provide supplementary information and liaise with the factory when special requests for parts or equipment are required.
  • You manage the post sales administration activities that include: loading of orders and data in our ERP system and managing the external subcontract labour in connection with the assembly or units and aftermarket activities.
  • You advise, inform and educate (technical) consultants, contractors and corporate account customers in formal and informal settings with regard to BAC products and applications.
  • You establish and maintain communication with customers and HQ for deliveries of equipment and parts, you chase end users for overdue invoices and you follow up quotations and discuss proposals with customers.


Comprehensive HVAC product engineering / application knowledge with a good sales and commercial understanding?

  • You will have relevant engineering qualifications and expertise in application HVAC products and systems with at least 5 years of sales or customer focused experience in a similar environment. Having an interest or experience in cooling technology and HVAC is an advantage.
  • Through your strong communication skills and a pro-active attitude you are able to coordinate multiple sales opportunities & projects.
  • Thanks to your experience and understanding of system design and unit applications, you will be able to advice customers and help build a strong relationship.
  • You can express yourself fluently in English. Additional languages are an advantage (French, German, Flemish)
  • You can work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines in an often hectic and fast changing environment.
