Baltimore Aircoil Company, BAC, is a global manufacturer of heat transfer products and services. We specialize in developing resource-saving evaporative cooling equipment that conserves water and energy. The products of BAC Europe are distributed across Europe, the Middle – East and North Africa.

BAC Balticare Italy, a subsidiary of BAC Europe, offers a complete range of products and aftermarket services ensuring safe and optimal performance of BAC cooling towers and evaporative condensers.

To strengthen our Balticare Italy team, we’re recruiting a motivated

Service Manager (m/f)

As a service manager you are responsible for the sales of BAC aftermarket products and services. You also build and lead a team of Aftermarket salesmen to accomplish the sales and marketing objectives. Next to this you assess market opportunities, discuss them with the management and steers his sales team to convert the opportunity to a sale.

In this role you advise and promote the optimal solution to customers making use of unique selling propositions for the specific market segment and competitive threat. You carefully monitor customer demands, requirements or opportunities and coordinate proposals based on BAC products/parts and services portfolio.

Technical sales driven team player?

  • Sales management is one of your major responsibilities. You define objectives and sales targets and provide leadership to meet or exceed customer expectations. You monitor and steer the aftermarket sales team on a daily base. In this role you are responsible for one geographical area which will be covering: visits to customers/BAC installations, understand customer requirements and provide solutions, work out quotations for aftermarket products and services.
  • Also service management will be crucial in this role. You coordinate spare parts and services RFQ and coordinate inspections of engineers/technicians. You plan and prioritize the schedule of the service technicians.


Strong and experienced people manager with good technical insights?

  • You combine a technical education (apprenticeship) with a minimum of 10 years working experience in a technical/commercial environment. Crucial is having technical affinity and the eager to learn and get to know BAC products and markets.
  • You have strong people management skills and are a stress resistant and flexible person.
  • Next to an engineering mind-set combined with a good commercial drive. You are handy and possesses practical insight.
  • You are highly customer oriented and focuses on providing solutions. This role requires first class listening and interactions skills to build up long term relationships.
  • You can express yourself fluently in Italian and English.
  • You enjoy travelling with the territory of responsibility: 40% inside office – 60% outside office and predominantly traveling from site to site.
