Area Sales Manager

Sales East Germany and Hydrogen

Getting your energy out of challenging opportunities?

  • One of your most important responsibilities is commercializing BAC products and services within your region. Your client portfolio consists of consulting engineers, contractors and end users in different market segments. Next to managing your existing client portfolio, you proactively take initiatives to expand your network.
  • You enjoy positioning innovative products and you are able to create value in solutions for your clients, convincing them of BAC’s qualitative broad range of products and services. You manage your own projects by always focusing on providing solutions that are made to meet your customers’ requirements.
  • Next to the focus on traditional markets within your region, you will also be involved in expanding our business in targeted growth/emerging markets. This involves market analysis, education and customer follow-up and coordination at a more international level.
  • Positioning yourself as the technical commercial expert who is developing specifications and tailored proposals to exceed the customers’ expectations, your ultimate goal is to create long term and sustainable customer relationships.
  • You closely work together with internal colleagues from different departments (marketing, engineering, aftermarket, supply chain,…).

Profiel

Love to debate and looking to understand your customers’ business?

  • You combine an Industrial/Thermal Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years successful commercial experience in the construction industry, ideally in the equipment environment of HVAC, refrigeration or industrial markets.
  • You can express yourself fluently in German and English.
  • As a strategic negotiator, you enjoy initiating, maintaining and actively expanding contacts in divers’ sectors and with interlocutors at different levels.
  • One of your absolute strengths is managing projects in a customer-oriented way.
  • You are a self-motivated and independent worker but also like to be part of a team and provide support to colleagues.
  • Thanks to strong, goal-oriented communication skills, you easily capture and convince an audience.
